Owner
Richard is a Merced County native and founded R.T. Maher Construction in 1986. He is a California State Licensed Contractor and has been in the solar industry for over 32 years servicing Merced County and beyond. He has completed advanced training for Solar Design, Solar Installations, & NEC 690 Code Compliance for PV systems. Richard has installed thousands of solar electric systems in Merced County and surrounding areas throughout his 32 years of experience.Licenses:

Patrick G.
Executive Operations
Joined our R.T. Maher team in 2009, Patrick has been in the solar industry for 12 years and has managed a wide range of different solar projects from beginning to end. From commercial carport systems to residential roof mounted systems, Patrick is highly experienced and very knowledgeable. He manages all of our Commercial, Agricultural, and Residential PV solar installations to ensure every system is installed with high quality workmanship and compliance with current NEC and local codes.

Joined our R.T. Maher team in 2022. She handles our permitting applications for commercial, agriculture, and residential solar installation along with many other tasks.

Joined our R.T. Maher team in 2017, Kevin is a highly seasoned journeyman electrician and has over twenty-five years’ experience in commercial and residential electrical.

Joined our R.T. Maher team in 2017, Lei Lei’s has a bigger than life personality and is always ready to fetch her frisbee. With her motivation for food, she is willing to complete any task given to her. We are truly lucky to have her presence in our office.
